I’ve been reading round on Comcast’s Xfinity and it seems like there are a lot of complaints regarding its over zealous security measures, i.e. it blocks access to legitimate sites. If you have the Xfinity app or visit the xFi website you may be able to turn off advanced security using the following article as a guide: I have no idea if this will help, but it’s probably worth a try.

Sometimes ARC connects and sometimes it does not. Typically I can restore connectivity via a computer reboot

How often does this happen, once a day? Does this happen when the IP address of the Roon Core changes? If you try to disable IPv6 on your Roon Core, does this change the behavior?

To Disable IPv6:

Use the shortcut, Windows Key + X to open the Control Panel.
Open Network and Internet.
Open Network and Sharing Center.
Click Change Adapter Settings.
Right-click your connection and go to Properties.
Uncheck the box next to Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) to disable
