Description of Issue

Over the past couple of days, I am getting intermittent dropouts with Tidal and Qobuz streams. I see this in the Server Diagnostic Log (see the Dropout entries):

I also have local music on the sonicTransporter i5 and can see if I get dropouts with that, but for the past couple days, it has been both Tidal and Qobuz.

Any ideas where to start troubleshooting?

Thank you,
Jim

Small update - I forgot that in my listening room, I am going from directly from the Orbi Router → wired ethernet → wired ethernet to TRENDnet 4 port unmanaged switch with SFP slot → fiber to Sonore opticalRendu. I have the 8 port switch going to other drops in the house. ~ Jim

A post was split to a new topic: Check your Qobuz account - Connection Issue

Hi - does Roon support monitor these forums, or is it just the community? I am still getting regular dropouts, and lately more on Qobuz:

Sometimes the song will stop, then continue, but today it typically just stops playing - and what’s odd, is that when this happens, and I click on the icon for my endpoint, the histogram that signifies that there is a signal playing keeps dancing away even though nothing is coming out of the speakers.

Local files seem to play just fine. I try stopping and restarting my Core, I reboot all my network devices, report my endpoint…it’s really getting frustrating. Would really like to know if this is a Qobuz thing, Roon thing, or network thing.
