Not sure about wider soundstage but there is a bass boost. It probably sounds good on mobile gear or ear buds, but it’s annoying in a system that has adequate bass.

Agreed on both counts, definitely a euphonic layer added expanding the width and the bass has been a problem for as long as I can remember. I use Roon PEQ to taper it down otherwise it over powers my room

Anyone know why I can’t get the Radio Paradise FLAC link to work. Thanks to these posts, I’ve converted every other station I listen to on Roon to a FLAC feed except the one I listen to most, which is still 320kbs MP3! Still sounds but I’d like to try the FLAC.

They’ve been shifting URL a bit as they experiment, but

is working fine for me in Roon.

Yep, that stops me from using the service. Bottom heavy, forcing an EQ fix just for one station is a PITA, IMO. Acronym city.

http://91.121.159.124:8000/eko-des-garrigues-max.flac does not work for me in Roon Internet Radio. None of the posted stream links at L'Eko des Garrigues - Radio associative non-commerciale - 88.5 FM - Montpellier work. Does anyone know how to reformat these links, or may have links that work?

I am in the UK, and I cannot get any of the flac links to work for JB Radio2.
Anyone else have that problem?

I think I have found the problem.
The settings in LMS were not allowing FLAC.
Changed and all okay.
