Thanks for this. I got a nice stream from CBC 1. But I tried a couple of the CBC2 streams and they didn’t work for me. But then, I wasn’t looking for those. Happy to have the CBC1 feed, so–again–thanks.

Also a file which WE could edit to our needs instead of putting EACH station manually would do the trick.

Yes, it is 128 mp3 but with very decent SQ and for easy listening.
I use DI.FM (https://www.di.fm/) via a premium sub (remove ads and higher bit rate) - so you end up with a bunch of personal URLs for each channel that have your key in them.
A database only system such as tunein based services that most hardware streamer seem to include these days are pretty useless for such services and they don’t let you add your own URLs, so you end up stick with the free version of the service - ie lower bit rate and adverts (Urgh!).
They have a bunch of other genre specific companion services as well (DI cover electronic, but there are apparently decent service for jazz etc too). What I particularly like is that sub-genre channel stay fairly strictly within the intended sub genre, unlike for eg the playlist/‘radios’ on most mainstream streaming services and indeed Roon’s radio mode as well which tends to hop all over and can quickly get annoying, if for eg you want to relax to jazz house or whatever and really do not want it invaded by random pop trash.
I am premium subscriber of the JAZZRADIO.com (part of the same network) too.
I still couldn’t have worked 320 kb/s streaming out through ROON.
No idea what could be an issue or how to make URL work.
Anyone else able to get Roon to recognize this stream?

It’s KUTX which is an awesome NPR Music station in Austin Texas. The lower quality streams work of course but I’ve been trying to get this HLS stream to work in Roon. It plays in VLC Media Player but Roon thinks there is no radio at that URL.
