Sweeping statements like this without proper analysis are part of the problem. All of the listed techniques are a sure-fire way for amateurs to break their networks, and obviously Roon can’t be expected to fix this remotely for free.

seems to me a GS308Ev4 is not a GS308E. Anyhow, network device’s firmware errors are sometime opaque to the error event handler so there could be a hidden problem… but this is unlikely the case here when sources like Qobuz and local music works fine sent to the endpoint by the same Roon server
