Describe the issue

Almost every time when I add new music to library audio analysis hangs on some track - this is visible at Settings / Library / Background audio analysis speed. After that I restart Roon server, re-analyse album and audio analysis passes successfully. Then I add another album, it passes again, but hangs on next album, and I repeat restart and re-analyse.
My Roon server is 2.0(build 1445) running on Mac Mini M1 8Gb with Mac OS Sonoma 14.4.1. Library is stored on removable ssd drive.

Hi @vladimirkl,
Thanks for writing in to let us know about this issue. I’ve activated some diagnostics on your account. To help us locate the error could you let us know the date and approximate time that this last happened?

Hi Daniel I have the Same issue as @vladimirkl have an outstanding ticket here.

Hi, this happened last time on Sunday 28 July between 18:40 and 18:45 in local time (GMT+3). After that I restarted Roon server

Hello @vladimirkl ,

Are you still seeing the issue at the moment? If yes, can you try to restart your Roon Server app in your Mac taskbar 4-5 times and let it run a few minutes in between, so that the analysis starts? We can then check the logging to see if the problematic file(s) are more visible after the reboots.

Hi, I added few albums to library on weekend, but haven’t got any issues with analysis. Previously I had it with almost any new album. Is this related to some fix for my account? Or it’s just random behaviour?

We haven’t pushed any specific updates, no. I’m happy to hear things have subsided!
