positive for me…a good addition that I can expect to use.
Just wanted to say that I will be using this a lot. I have used a tag up until now but this makes it far more accessible and easy to use. Thanks!
Great feature!
Will be using it very often.
Thanks
Love this idea.
@mike One thing I’d suggest would be that “listen later” tracks tend to take a while to get around to listening too. So might become stale versions.
Can we have the “improve” button added to this screen? Like in playlists.
Maurice.
@mike - Looks great - THX

I have been using a Tag to do much the same for years , I read Gramophone and note stuff from there to try
Good Addition , just moved my Tag to it !
I favorited “ Night Letter “ Sonny Stitt, great album btw, which in Qobuz is a compilation of two albums. One is “Night Letter” and the other is “ Soul Shach”. After importing the album to Roon I splitted the album up so I have the two original albums. When I ad them to LL the LL badge is not showing but the albums shows up in LL. One more odd thing is that when I hit the three dots “ remove from LL” is not an option. The purple hook check mark are also not showing. All other “normal’ albums works as expected in LL.
Great feature, thanks for this, being crying out for something like this. Likely use it as my to buy list as well.
Ugh, this is so, so good. Thank you for adding this feature; now I can ditch the ‘To Listen’ tag completely.
+1000 on the suggestion to add contextual notes down the line to the LL queue. That would be the dream.
“Remove From Listen Later” should be a button for each item in the Listen Later list.
The feature is too cumbersome. If I want to clear items from the list I have hit the tiny three-dot menu, find “remove,” and then click that. And then I have to do the same thing for each item in the Listen Later list.
This is far too much friction and defeats the intended quick and easy convenience of the list. Just make “remove” and click, one click operation, please.
You can select multiple things and then remove them all at once.
Just got home and saw the update and instantly updated.
I had created a new Tidal (family) account just to manage my listen later list. I already have a nice list and really like how this looks.
Nice work @mike and Team Roon.
@mike a nice to have would be to have a simple focus at the top or just genre picker. Then the ability to play through all those filtered albums/tracks.
Everything on my ROCK NUC is slow now, particularly “Listen Later”… Trying a shut down/cold boot to see if the sudden speed issue resolves itself.
EDIT: It appears the shut down/boot fixed the speed issue. Very much looking forward to this feature!
Excellent feature. Working perfectly here.
Thanks.
I did the update but nowhere do I see option to listen later. On Roon remote. Help
Are you using Android / iOS for remote? If so, those updates aren’t available on the app stores yet.
iOS on iPad for Roon remote
Ok thanks.
Yes, this demonstrates my point.
To select multiple items in the list, I have to long press each item and wait for the check mark to appear. Then I have to move the mouse up to the three dots at the top of the screen. Then I have to cick the dots and then move the mouse again to navigate down and to the right to the remove command.
What I am requesting is a dedicated button in line with each item. Click and gone. This is 3 to 4 times faster with less roving around the screen with the mouse.
This would significantly increase the utility of the Listen Later list as quick notes. Right now it retains too much of the friction of making a Listen Later tag and maintaining the tag. It solves half the problem: there is dedicated button to quickly add something to the list, but then it operates just like the other lists (tags or playlists) in terms of removing things. There is also no way to reorganize things, which could be useful as well.
Adding the one-button to add things to a specialized list is fine, but it seems like an incomplete and unnecessarily inflexible approach.
