You might be able to prepare an appropriate single-channel filter. This suggests that Roon can apply multi-channel filters:

I prefer using HAF filters via Roon’s convolution engine for room correction, which is no problem when playing stereo material. 5.1 or 7.1 surround titles, however, have no center channel until I disable convolution. ??? System is Mac USB to miniDSP U-DIO-8 converter’s SPDIF into Meridian processor.

Happy to give this a go as a test with the appropriate stream.
