Apologies for the delayed response here. Playlists should be saved in Roon backups and restored once a backup is restored, it’s very strange that this has not been your experience.
I am wondering if there could be some underlying issue on the ROCK causing these issues, the behavior you’ve noted can sometimes be a side effect of a corrupted hard drive or other aspects hardware failing.
To test for this issue, would it be possible for you to temporarily use a fresh database on the ROCK and let me know if you experience any of the previous issues? You can set your current database aside by using these instructions:
- Create a Backup of your current Roon Database
- Stop RoonServer from running in ROCK’s WebUI
- Navigate to your Roon’s Database Location
- Find the folder that says “RoonServer”
- Rename the “RoonServer” folder to “RoonServer_old”
- Restart the Roon App to generate a new Roon folder
