After updating ROON, it no longer recognized ROON Tested’s Meridian218.
Like the last time I solved it myself, it doesn’t recognize it even if I restart my Mac.
As a first step you can try and turn off your Roon Server, all the related networked devices (including switches and the internet router) and then start powering on the system again starting with the router (wait 'till he finished booting) and then the necessary network devices all the way back to your Roon Server, the Roon Server itself and the remaining turned off devices (if still any).
If the device still doesn’t come back in Roon you can also try and have a look at your Roon Server (and RAATServer) log files. Official support may come back to you and your case here when it reaches the top of their cue but … maybe also have a look at the thread below and other threads about the Meridian 218 meanwhile:
@Daifuku_Marui - I had occasional network & Roon ‘irregularities’ with my 218 and I don’t know if the new Meridian firmware has improved this specifically, but sometimes it’s a good idea to keep up to date.
Dear @benjamin
After installing Device Manager on my Mac, it now recognizes the device.
However, there was no function install FW.
I received a lot of advice, but unfortunately my dealer was adamant that there was no need for a firmware update, so we couldn’t move forward with the conversation.
thank you.
