Just a fantastic album - really like these guys.
Wilderunās Veil Of Imagination album has been talked here earlier but I think their 2015 album Sleep at the Edge of the Earth has not been mentioned. It is also excellent album, but maybe still recommend their latest for those who are new to Wilderun.
Such a great band and maybe still little unknown.
Not sure if mentioned⦠Metallica āblack albumā super deluxe announced last month, due September 10.
6 x vinyl/14 x CD/6 x DVD plus extras. Have the first four boxes but am not enough of a fan to continue after this one.

This is great, thanks for sharing
Just back from a couple of days travel and itās playing nice and loudly in the garden
I will try some of their other work
Ha ha I only re-bought the CD a couple of months ago. You would need to be a crazy fan to buy that, or maybe get it on eBay in a few years.
Very good that you like it! Definitely check their latest Veil Of Imagination, it is one the best progressive metal albums of recent years. They also added cover of Iron Maidenās Seventh Son of a Seventh Son to new release of that album. Sadly that is not available in Bandcamp or Qobuz.
Oh cool, one of my favourite Maiden songs as well. It might go straight on after this.
Love the melding of the almost medieval with the modern as well
Video of that cover was shared here couple months ago but no idea when exactly.
No problem I will find it thanks
Edit : in my YouTube queue for tonightās YouTube hour
Yay! Finally got my Blackwater Park 20th Anniversary transparent vinyl.
Plus t-shirt and a snood.
I have no idea what use I have for a snood in Hong Kong.
I donāt even know what this thing is⦠But then I wouldnāt know what to do with transparent vinyl either
Originally they were hairnets, but now they are a scarf-like contraption that is basically a fabric tube that you pull over your head and down to the neck area, as opposed to wrap around like a normal scarf.
Often found on Premier League footballers in the UK from warmer climes when the weather gets a little bit chilly.
I see a lot of people using them as Covid maskās and just pulling them up over their faces when coming into contact with people.
Not sure how the Opeth branded one would work for that, but it should scare people into keeping their distance at least
Maybe not with their more recent limp proggy stuff .
Checking out this new band Roon recommended. Scrolling back through this thread it does not appear to have been posted before. Heavier progressive metal.
Very good!
ICV wasnāt THAT bad though.
Of course, the last album before that was Watershed and Opeth were utterly silent between 2011-2016 except for live albums.
Sounds interesting⦠have to get used to this very old-school-ish vocals though. Riffing and bass work is much to my liking.
Enjoyed this - thanks @Michael_Harris for the suggestion.
