Description of Issue

–I recently clicked the update button on roon and it has not worked since.
–Initially I got the endless loading screen (black screen white semi circle/oscillating vertical bars logo)
–After a couple of shut down and reboots, it finally loaded although some functions were lost and most of the music was unavailable.
–Ipad did not recogize audio devices (roon could not see the Lumin which I also rebooted)
–I followed the instruction in this thread…

but after deleting the tidal_ it went back to the endless loading screen

Please try:

  • Exit out of Roon
  • Navigate to your Roon’s Database Location
  • Rename the “Roon” folder to “Roon_old”
  • Rename the “RAATServer” folder to “RAATServer_old”
  • Reboot the Roon Core computer
  • Restart/Reinstall the Roon App
  • (Optional) Restore Roon from a backup
