An absolutely fantastic live album!
I just added the album to my queue. Over 3h of playtime… that’s a bit more than expected
I feel the same way all the time. So much knowledge about music and so many great people recommending things to you. The artists you already know have it much easier to spend many hours with us than the even larger number of new discoveries, where you first have to gain experience.
A very good medieval rock band from Germany (Karlsruhe).
Added the live version to my library thanks
A very skilled german guitar player. The drums on some tracks like “Father” are played by jazz drummer Wolfgang Haffner.
Thanks for sharing this, just having a listen in the office now
Once again, I’m being nasty and “speculatively provocative.”
A song that is present in the under chart placements, but probably never played on the radio:
Das ist alles von der Kunstfreiheit gedeckt – Wikipedia (German)
For all those who find “Böhse Onkelz” too ambivalent and “Toten Hosen” too mainstream:
Yes the guys I also find good and even such things succeed and bring good tunes to the new beloved fit.
…but let us also continue to dance with Ulla…
…and before I read and write further, now first move the butt, otherwise I rust. Still so many great ideas and suggestions. Hearts there after the new listen
I have surely posted other of their albums here before, but this collection of early work is absolutely fantastic and very calming.
The Düsseldorfer Düsterboys are classified in the Wiki under Folk, Psychedelic, Lo-Fi. The coffee from the kitchen reminds me of the old Krautrock scene and a Hamburg label. I’ll have to dig around to see what else I have in my record box.
With this insider tip, of course, Roon will not say much more:
First, something more familiar from the German-speaking world.
In the end I always think only of you would also say the Düsseldorfer Düsterboys, when they get the coffee from the kitchen and look at the piece of white paper with melancholy.
Jazz should not be missing from the German corner. Certainly, this musical direction is not immediately accessible to everyone, but with this community you are unerringly introduced to each genre so that it is a pleasure to hear the good new sounds. Today I have brought Heinrich Köbberling with me. In 2010, Jazzwerk was created in the label of the same name with Tino Derado and Rudi Mahall a jazz prize winner. Whether he was now awarded by the SWR exactly because of this album, I can not say, but listen in and enjoy music that is not dud in every radio.

Bio: Bio - Blackslash - Heavy Metal
With the band slogan 12 years of heavy metal madness! 12 years of rock n roll! 12 years of Blackslash! says it all. It’s not only hard for jazz musicians, rockers and metalheads also have to struggle to build a huge fan base. These Bavarian guys from deserve more attention in the rocker community. If you need a gig there before Christmas, you can find it on 23.12.19 Donaueschingen.

Sometimes it’s mistakes and errors that send you down completely new paths and so it can be a successful journey after all. Just as I was looking at my computer, these women’s tones looked at me:
Roon, with the help of AllMusic, recognizes it as the Mazurian Philharmonic Orchestra
and thus directs me first to East Prussia in the Masuria and to Allenstein, today’s Olsztyn in Poland.
https://www.polen.travel/de-at/kultur/kunst-und-kultur/ermlandisch-masurische-philharmonie-in-olsztyn or https://filharmonia.olsztyn.pl/
The town writer has interesting stories to tell about the philharmonic orchestra there, which I don’t want to withhold from the Roon community.

After this interesting background story from the artist’s perspective, I would first like to introduce the other people involved:

and then we get on the further right track on the CD-Backside:

Of course we have more world class here and many a friend of classical music will be driven again to look for more.
I just enjoy the women’s tones and am enchanted.
Of course, Roon continues about the composer correctly
