The good old melody is played only by a trio, but who can refuse a beautiful woman a wish when sung in old movies. The old cavalier is looking forward to his home and leaves the woman alone with the housework.

Itâs amazing how far back a beautiful melody can go. Friends of classical music would let me dive a few centuries further into the past.

If we focus even more closely on home and old, we end up in northern Germany and with Fiede Kay. Yes, we also find this artist on Qobuz or Tidal. This shows how large the collections of the music services are in the meantime.
There is even an album title that emphasizes this aspect.

Wikipedia: Les Immer Essen was a rock band formed in Cologne in the early 1980s. Musically, it was oriented to British pop music (Orange Juice, Style Council, David Bowie). After the release of their first and only LP Tally-Ho, the band split up again. Their biggest hit was the song Hand-Take, which also placed in the German Top 40 in 1985.
