My core cannot upgrade to 2.0, my system won't run it, but my remotes on iPhone and iPad did

Roon Core Machine

Mac mid-2011 running High Sierra 10.13.6 I was having a ball with Roon, marvelous sound, accessing my TIDAL library like never before, but the 2.0 Arc update won't run on my Mac, but both my iPhone and iPad remotes did upgrade to 2.0 so I lost communication with the Core. Is there a way to get remotes 1.8 to run with my Core? Thanks!!

Description of Issue

I’m afraid your Mac is running outdated software. 2.0 now requires 10.15.

If you plan to keep your system as is, you’ll need to downgrade all your devices to 1.8 (Legacy).

If you follow this guide, you’ll be able to go back to 1.8 (Legacy).

Download Links for Roon Core 1.8 (Legacy):

MacOS All-in-one / MacOS Remote

MacOS RoonServer

Windows All-in-one / Windows Remote (x64)
Windows All-in-one / Windows Remote (x32)

Windows RoonServer (x64)
Windows RoonServer (x32)

Download links for your Roon Remote (Legacy):

iOS App Store

Android Play Store
Android Manual Install (Link to APK)

Go to the Apple App Store and install Roon Remote Legacy or whatever version you need on your iPhone and iPad to match what your core is running.

Thank you!! I Just figured how to keep Roon 1.8, downloaded and installed Legacy! At the moment Roon 2.0 new features are not necessary to me. Best, Paulo
