No SSD option in Legacy BOOT during BIOS setup

NUC: INTEL NUC8i5BEH
SSD: INTEL SSDPEKKW128G8

Im trying to install ROCK on my NUC but when I follow the instructions to enable legacy boot, there are no options to select a drive. My M.2 slot is enabled, and my SSD shows up under DEVICES. I am trying to do the following:

  • Set the boot order to boot from your SSD first (you can drag the drives into the proper order if you’re using a mouse. Otherwise you can use the + and - keys

Any idea how to fix this? Thanks!

You can only select drives with a bootable partition, which a virgin drive won‘t have: install Rock from an external USB stick, then it will select.

Hi @Tola_Chin,

Just to confirm here, you are using these instructions and this BIOS Setup guide to install ROCK on the NUC? Which BIOS version have you installed on it? Have you booted off of the USB drive yet as @mikeb mentioned?
