· The Nucleus boots up and I can connect to it in the Roon app without issue, but I have a question about configuration/storage/attached devices

Describe the issue

I recently purchased a nucleus one as my Roon Core. When I try to connect to my Marantz Stereo 70s it says the manufacturer has not completed the certification and will not enable the device. However, when I was using my desktop computer as my Roon Core, I could play on the Marantz with no problem

Try rebooting or hard reset of both - make sure your firmware and ROON are updated ..

Hello @peter.chavannes

Welcome to the Roon community! It’s great to have you here, and congrats on the new Nucleus One.

This usually indicates a minor communication “hiccup” between the new Core and the device during the initial handshake.

To help us clear this up, please try the following:

  1. Restart your Nucleus One.
  2. Once it is back online, restart it a second time. 3. While the Nucleus is rebooting, give your Marantz a quick power cycle as well.

Performing a back-to-back restart of the Nucleus often forces a fresh refresh of the device capabilities list.

Please let us know once you have done this. We will then be able to pull a diagnostic report from our end to see exactly how the Marantz is identifying itself to the Nucleus and determine why it’s triggering that certification message.
