USB – Oppo UDP-205
HDMI- Marantz AV8801
Roon Ready networked – Oppo UDP-204

Description Of Issue

I am sure this will be a simple solution/answer. When streaming over the network from Roon to UDP-205 (not through USB) I do not have the option to stream DSD, but when I use some other streaming app (as for example 8player from iPhone) I can stream DSD to Oppo UDP-205. Am I missing something?

Hi @ADHD, At this time, Oppo UDP-203 cannot stream DSD/Multichannel content via Roon Ready, you can read more regarding this limitation in the following thread: OPPO UDP-203 and UDP-205 now Roon Ready. As far as I’m aware, you are able to stream DSD content via USB and multichannel via HDMI but can’t stream multichannel DSD content via USB nor HDMI. I hope this helps! Thanks, Noris
