Playback issue to Bryston

I know it’s been a while since this was posted, but we are indeed experiencing a similar problem with a Bryston USB connection. Plays for random number of songs, then drops out. Tried a different USB cable; no change.

Rainer_Nowacki did you find a solution?

Hi @Howard_Frazier,

So we can better assist you, please provide a brief description of your current setup using this link as a guide.

Make sure to describe your network configuration/topology, including any networking hardware currently in use, so we can have a clear understanding of how your devices are communicating.

Does this behavior occur if you play to other endpoints? Does this behavior occur for all content or just certain types (local vs streaming, certain file types or bitrates, etc.)?

No, unfortunately no solution. I have a Audiobyte Hydra now between Innuos server and Bryston. What has happened that if the bit rate remains constant, there is no drop out. But if the bit rate and the sample rate change, there is a high possibility that the DAC will lose the connection, even on Toslink, AES and Spdif. Switching inputs helps. The DAC in my preamp works better, but only up to 96kHz. Also a Bryston, but in the BA26.
