Would you please update the streaming link for The Colorado Sound (KJAC 105.5 FM, Greeley Colorado). The higher bit rate streaming link is: https://kunc.streamguys1.com/kjac. The one you are currently using defaults to the almost unlistenable 48kbps stream.

I am unsure about your problem; those streams already appear in our database for
Deutschlandfunk Kultur
PULS and
Bayern 2 (Nord)

although the https versions are replaced with http ones as Roon sometimes has trouble with the https protocol (as happens here).

Hi Brian,

thank you for the response. The problem is that these streams do not work in my Roon setup, neither with https nor http. After starting the stream, a message appears “Playback was interrupted because a track failed to load”. Do you get them work?

Yes.

Are you using the database versions of the stations?
Do any other stations give you problems?
Has this issue just started?
What are you running your core on?

yes. In case of Deutschlandfunk Kultur the lower quality versions work, the other ones do not work in any quality.

Same with Deutschlandfunk (without Kultur), other stations do work.

I started my Roon experience just yesterday. Roon core is running on a Synology DS 220+, database on a separate SSD.

I suspect the problem lies in your codecs. Your Synology is probably lacking aac codecs which need to be added manually. See

I think they have changed the name and url for it.
It was called ostlandssendingen, now called stor-oslo.

I added this manually:

I did wonder - when stor-oslo kept popping up in my searches…

Anyway, we now have NRK P1 Stor-Oslo in the database
