Then why does Roon keep showing the following messages simultaneously: “Started Live Radio UNDO” and “Unable to play this station. Its address may have changed, or it may be temporarily unavailable.”?

Hmm, I briefly removed the geo-restriction and attempted to play the stream in Roon - because of my location it plays silence but it did play - only to stop after 4 seconds.

Something odd and I’ll let the Devs know. However I have found an alternative mp3 stream which you might try.

Good morning. The live radio stream for the Current 89.3 does not pass song metadata. The screen shows an an error ETIMEDOUT. the station music does stream, but it would be nice to sing song titles. The titles display properly if I use the Current’s native app, just not on Roon. Thanks!

I can’t figure out how to manually add a radio stream so that I can try my old one (I’m just not seeing the “+ Add station” anywhere):

The MP3 stream should show metadata (I can’t fully test as I am in the UK).

The aac stream is an HLS and Roon cannot currently deal with metadata in that type of stream.

However, I’ll discuss with @alec_eiffel and see if his metadata service can be set up for this)

PS to add a stream, use my live_radio, see this help article. However, the .pls stream you referenced, re-directs to the mp3 stream that Roon has in its database)

Thanks, Brian! I just now tried the MP3 stream and I do now see the metadata (I didn’t think to try that - so thanks for the tip). I’m okay using the MP3 stream.

And thanks for teaching this old dog yet again how to add manual radio stations :slight_smile: What trips me up each time is that I try to find it under ‘Browse / Live Radio’, not thinking/remembering that it’s actually under ‘My Library / My Live Radio’). Thank you, sir :pray:

Yep, saw that, The Current changed it’s website structure and I need to find another way to scrap metadata. I am confident a solution will be found once I have time (which means next week unfortunately…)

I think I have fixed 93XRT metadata: can you check it is displaying the correct artist/song info ?
