Portrait mode not working on iPad 12.9" (MXF92B/A) [Ticket In]

You get only landscape mode. Rotation to portrait mode is supported on iPad Pro 12.9" only because they are the only ones with big enough screens.

weird typo… i fixed it… the tablet/desktop ui is built for a certain number of pixels at a certain dpi… that’s why we only do landscape on ipads, as they are all 1024 wide and the dpi is fine the huge ipad pro actually can do the same pitch horizontally in portrait mode, so no reason to not support portrait there. in portrait on the big ipad pro, its like making the desktop app as narrow as itll go and very tall.

I have a first generation 12.9" iPad Pro, and it is spectacular. By far my favorite way to use Roon.

No portrait mode on iPad Pro 4th gen

Hello All, Currently only the iPad Pro 12.9 model (all generations) supports portrait mode with Roon. We’re working on adding portrait mode to additional iPad models, but this is a work in progress and as such we cannot comment on any specific timelines of when this work will be completed.
