Post Pictures Of Where You Listen To Roon

Please post pictures of the room or space where you listen to Roon most of the time. Post front, back, left, and right. I think we all like looking at the different room set ups we spend our time in. Not so much interested in the details of the music system as we already post those elsewhere.

Of late with all the travel between Florida and Arkansas it’s been the inside of my truck!:sunglasses:
Which makes for very boring pictures.
Nice idea Jim.

Most of my listening is done in my study, facing this selection of “places I have worked”. It always provides a good listening back drop.

Yes, I had expected some pictures inside cars and trucks or buses.

I am, in actual fact, a priest in the Church of England. The pictures are churches in North Yorkshire, Sheffield and Devon. 25 years represented in pictorial form, apart from the 7 years I spent in prison (as a Chaplain )

Beautiful areas, and glad you clarified the “prison stint”

I’ve returned to Sheffield now to finish my career. A great city and, if I’m honest, my real home.

I like that chair.

Thanks Jim.
Used to be my listening chair until about a month ago. Then we got the leather couch and everything moved around in the room so that is the position where I now listen from. And by accident the sound has improved quite a notch. I’m sure those who place great store in room acoustics and seat positioning will totally appreciate this.
This is my daytime environment, speaker playback only. At night I’m in a different room and it’s headphone listening with a FiiO R9 Media Streamer.

This was my main listening space before I got the dedicated listening room. It’s our family room with Bose system and a headphone system.

Is the Quad 33 / 303 really like the real thing . I had the 33 / 405 / ESL 63 for many years, (weeping)

Hi Mike, I never had the old version of these amps so cannot compare. I did however have the Quad Artera pre/power combo(the power amp lost all power (ironically) and Quad couldn’t fix, hence the switch to 33/303 amps), and I’m of the opinion that the 33/303’s are a cut above the Artera’s. I was so impressed with these amps I bought a 2nd 303 power amp and I’m running as monoblocks which raises the bar even more.
Next time you’re in the market for new amps i would definitely recommend you try and get a demo.

I love seeing these rooms! My wife and I (casually) move around and remodel homes in the US West, so I’m always looking for inspiration. I inevitably develop listening solutions in the homes we work on/live in (2/5 years for tax purposes :money_mouth_face:). We currently have two in Oregon.

Here’s a Denon/KEF/CA/Revel 7.2.4 home theater I finished recently that uses a 110" acoustically transparent screen with a UST projector and center channel behind the screen:

Here’s a 5.1.2 using a similar spread of vendors + OLED and Roon Nucleus One:

Here’s a music room with Matrix mini-4 and DCA Ether 2s (art by me!):

Finally, Matrix XSABRE-3 with Benchmark AHB2 and Kef Meta R3s for living space:

Half music, half reading.
The 2-channel uses Roon to control HQ Player. Six speaker lights are Roon Ready.
