I think it has been valuable information for Roon @benjamin that what you are seeing can’t be captured, at least to me this was not clear previously.

And this makes sense; 120 Hz video playback is still a relatively new thing. Not only does the container format/codec have to support it; the hosting platform has to not screw it up, and the playback device has to support it as well.

Guessing is bad, but I work in the field of software engineering, and I do believe it’s likely that some of the frameworks Roon employs in its software are not capable of supporting Apple’s Pro Motion features.

For me, FWIW, this non-120 Hz scrolling only offends my OCD tendencies. It still works just fine, and I don’t notice it unless I choose to. I’ve been with computers for a very long time, and even today’s jerky scrolling is miles ahead of where normal scrolling was 10-15 years ago :slight_smile:
