Did this work for you?, i have the same issue after manual install i get the white screen with the roon logo. my database is for sure on a separate SSD.
Same behavior continues. I just updated to build 898 and now havenāt been able to connect to the core for last 30 minutes. I hope it fixes by itself overnight again.
UPDATE:
This time it was user error. I couldnāt access the core since my QNAP decided to ban my iPhone ip-address for 24 hours during the Roon update process. After clearing that, I can connect now.
