I was listening to my classical music, and suddenly the music stopped, and when I looked in my albums all my classical albums were gone and instead I have about 750 pop albums which I never in my life had. It looks like a totally different account. All my 3700 classical albums are gone. Help
Hello,
I’ve noticed since today that Roon keeps adding albums to my library from Qobuz. This is a very frustrating issue also because added albums are from artists and genres I don’t really care about.
To give you an idea of the growth rate of my library, I had about 3900 albums this morning and now I see almost 4800 of them and the count keeps growing.
To stop this proliferation I logged out from Qobuz but this of course is not an acceptable workaround.
I’m running the last version of both Roon Remote and ROCK (version 2.47 build 1510).
Please let me know if you need any further details about my Roon setup.
There seems to be some issue with Qobuz today. I logged in here because all my Qobuz albums have vanished from Roon. Looking around the forum and a few other places it seems that others are experiences issues as well.
I logged on to the Qobuz app and it has my albums but it shows me logged in using a French emai address and the playlists belong to someone else. Super weird.
I’m having the same issue. James Taylor was added and all my recent additions are gone. I really don’t like James Taylor - that’s the most painful part.
I had the same issue. Did a re-sync on the Settings - Service - Qobuz option and my Qobuz albums came back BUT the 7 Qobuz albums that I didn’t add to my Roon remained. Just have to delete those 7 to get back to normal.
Overview: Recently, albums that I did not add to my Qobuz library have started appearing in my list. Sorting by the date added reveals that they are not all the most recent additions.
Roon Build: 1507 (early access)
Troubleshooting: I have restarted Roon and performed a manual Qobuz sync, but the issue persists. Additionally, I checked my Qobuz albums on my iPhone, and the problematic albums were not added there. Therefore, I don’t believe that my Qobuz account has been hacked.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help resolve this issue.
It’s back!!! Having problems again with Qobuz! This morning I noticed I was getting a message that Qobuz was slow and having trouble loading. It has happened before so I restarted Roon and when it loaded up all of my Qobuz titles were gone. Almost 1700 albums disappeared. Im using the above Software discussion category as this happened a month ago when Qobuz failed and a lot of Roon users were having this problem. I have already restarted my iMac M2 and Roon individually several times. Not sure what to do next so Im reaching out. Any suggestions would be extremely helpful.
I am also having a similar problem with Roon adding Qobuz titles that are not mine. I have lost the 1700 albums from Qobuz and now 145 random albums came up none of which I would have downloaded as they are from genres of music I do not listen to.
Now I have totally lost the ability to sign back into Qobus as it has disappeared from the BROWSE column so logging in is not an option. Very strange!
There is a similar thread (some disappeared and unwanted ones appeared instead) and someone said that restarting the server helped. Can you confirm that?
Does someone else in your family use the same Qobuz account? If so, if they add an album or track to favourites using the Qobuz app, it will ad this to Roon.
If you are certain this isn’t the situation, then changed your Qobuz password to something else using a strong password that cannot be guessed.
Similar situation here. All Qobuz albums, except for a couple hundred classical ones, disappeared. After i manually resynced the qobuz library, Roon began adding hundreds of classical albums that i hadn’t added previously.
Same here. Qobuz integration goes nuts…
Seems like it lost all content and is re-adding it (about 3600 Qobuz albums + 1400 local albums).
I just hope this does not f*up my library and playlists.
I have this too. Eight Qobuz albums appeared today, in the last hour. I definitely did not add them and they don’t appear in my favourites when I look at the Qobuz app.
I am facing this as well. Restarting the server did not solve the issue. There are 65 new albums added today which I did not add. They do not appear in the Qobuz app.
I believe this issue is identical to the one described in the thread about continuously added albums.
I have restarted the RoonServer several times, but the issue persists. I am the only one using my Qobuz and Roon accounts, and no one else has access to them.
Since albums have disappeared before due to an issue with the Qobuz API, I suspect that this might be the same problem this time.
