I am experiencing an issue with my Roon library. Since yesterday, my favorite playlists from Qobuz have vanished. I have attempted to resolve this by resyncing Qobuz within Roon's settings, but unfortunately, the playlists have not been restored.
Same here. Lost several thousand albums from Qobuz in Roon. Somehow 51 Qobuz albums are still in my Roon library. Qobuz app remains correct and unaffected.
Yeah, count me in. Lost hundreds of albums from qobuz. Got a very small number of albums back this morning. I believe the root of the problem may be roon conflating qobuz favorite albums with qobuz library of albums……
i noticed this too. I have about 50 that remain. No rhyme or reason to which ones tho.
Interesting. One thing i noticed is that “Favorite Albums” in “My Qobuz” only add up to about 500 albums. They are all albums in my library, but it’s only a fraction. I think there are probably 2000 Qobuz albums in my library. (I don’t think I’ve “Favorited” a single one, FWIW.)
Just a thought but what does your Qobuz library look like in Qobuz itself, mine look all there, unfortunately I can’t find a way of getting a count in the native apps?
Incidentally just in case you weren’t aware, a Roon ‘add to library’ is the same as a ‘favourite’ in Qobuz, so by adding an album to your Roon library you also add it to ‘Favourites’ in Qobuz.
The My Qobuz page only shows about 500 albums in the results. I’m seeing 530 albums listed from a total of 1,928. Known issue, and probably very low down on the priority list for Roon Labs to address.
I have de same problem, yesterday after 2 hours disappeared my Qobuz albums and playlist and the messages was Unavailable…I am testing Roon now for buy a subscriptions but with this issues… uuhhhmm… this is the business core of Roon but a lot time for find solution
In fairness this is unusual, yes we all have annoying things we would like changed (unavailable albums after Qobuz changes the ID, better classical handling of part works etc) , but overall Roon has been solid and reliable for me - and there is nothing like it anywhere, streaming services don’t come close for now (they might do eventually!)
Yeah, looks like everything is there if i open the native qobuz app, but it would be cool if they showed numbers. Silly, but sounds like one needs to use a third-party app/service for that (aside from Roon).
And that makes sense on the “add to library” = “qobuz favorite” thing.
Again, this is an inconvenience – but a minor one. Can still get to any album I want, even if it’s not by the same means. (At least I have a ton of CDs ripped to roon, so I’m able to find most of what I want to listen to.)
When your music library is based on Qobuz albums and only on it, this is a major issue. It is a major issue if you have chose Roon to manage a classical music library. I dont really need Roon to PLAY my music. Instead i had chosen and subscribed to ROON and am paying it, mainly if not only to organize and manage all the recordings and versions and composers and artists in my classical music qobuz library.
Probably not productive to add to the thread to just say “this is happening to me too” but curious if roon techs are aided by us documenting behavior, simply to help in diagnosing/patching/fixing the issue…
for example, I did add a couple Qobuz albums to my library yesterday.
This morning they were there. Two hours later they are not.
No restart, no reboot. Curious what the trigger might be to make them go away.
Oh, i also just added one album to my favorites within the native Qobuz app. It showed up in roon in my Qobuz favorites, but not in Roon albums. Restarted roonserver and THEN it showed up in my Roon album library. Guessing it will go missing after a while, but interesting behavior nonetheless.
