Describe the issue

Query regarding TIDAL membership plan type and its effects on established (and treasured) Roon library:

The point of this ticket is just to ask this question, please:
I have built up a Roon library over years consisting largely of Tidal tracks from my standard/regular/single user Tidal account

If I was to now convert my single user Tidal subscription to a multi-user “family plan” subscription, would my Roon library of Tidal tracks be affected? Would it remain? Does Roon work with multi-user Tidal family plans?

Thanks

Describe your network setup

Roon Server on Windows 11 Pro., flat wired network, Several Squeezebox 3s, a Roon Remote on Android to control it all

Roon doesn’t support family plans (and I think that the streaming services don’t support family plans for third-parties but I might be wrong).

Your Tidal account will be unaffected as long as you still log in with your account details as they are now. You won’t be able to use multiple accounts in Roon it will just see the one you log in with. There is no support for family accounts in Roon or pretty much any app outside of Sonos which works in very different way to most other apps to get round it.
