Remote Cant Find Core[Fixed]

roon data base, no backup

Hi @thomas_perilstein ---- Thank you for your patience here and @crieke thank you for the advice/help.

Moving forward, I would like to have you perform the following test to see if things improve. Please see below.

  • Please stop Roon from running on your QNAP and close the application on any other devices.

  • Once Roon has been stopped on the QNAP, please navigate to your database and delete your cache folder.

  • Once the cache folder has been deleted, please relaunch Roon on the QNAP.

  • Let us know how things perfrom.

-Eric

Would that be the cache listed under roon server or cache listed under data base which is exposed after clicking on roon server?

Hi @thomas_perilstein — Apologies for the confusion, you will want to delete the cache listed under RoonServer.

-Eric

Hi @thomas_perilstein ---- Just touching base with you, to see how things are going and what the outcome of the proposed test/your troubleshooting with @crieke yielded.

Thanks!

When I had the same issue my server manufacturer suggested that I change
the DNS settings on my router. His suggestions were.

Primary 8.8.8.8
Secondary 4.2.2.2
3rd 4.2.2.3

Thanks for the reply.
Crieke got me squared away.
Turned out there was empty folder that caused the problem.
