There is no administrator user or password for the nucleus. The web interface requires nothing to access. To access its samba share to access music or system logs the user and password is guest . Nothing else on the device requires anything else.
I seem to recall that I had to use guest/guest on my macOS when I connected to ROCKâs file share for the first time, and the documentation also says so. But anyway, the main point for @Xavier_Hacquin is that there is no administrator password for the Nucleus

This is a second, different issue that probably is somehow related to the network, but maybe not only. Roon @support should be able to help here.
(I tried to move the thread to Nucleus Support but canât because it shows me an error about âThis topic has disallowed tagsâ, but I find no tags to remove. @moderators?)
Weâve parsed routine diagnostics from your Nucleus+ and found evidence of the following:
Erroneous multicast traces likely arising from a known issue in Roon environments with 20+ Airplay endpoints
Additional network dropouts likely arising from the way youâve set up your LAN
Port forwarding failures with ARC, probably a secondary symptom of the broader networking structural problems in 2) above
Concerning issue #1, we have a fix in place to be released in the next cyclical Roon update. You should see this issue resolve itself over the coming weeks after updating to the next available Roon build when itâs released to the public.
Concerning issue #2, we need to identify where packet loss is occurring on your network. Itâs more than likely that the managed switch is involved. At your convenience, please answer the following to help us diagnose whatâs wrong:
Where in your network have you hardwired the Nucleus+?
Do you have any additional routers in this setup, like a modem/router combination provided by your ISP? If so, youâll need to create a manual port forwarding rule identical to the one youâve already created.
Where are you connecting to the internet on your Remotes? Is is via an access point, or the main routerâs WiFi?
Try troubleshooting without the managed switch in place, as it is possibly filtering out or rerouting essential communication between RoonServer, Roon Remote, and our own servers upstream.
