If/When my Nucleus dies - what will fit in the case?

Not wishing to tempt fate but increasingly posts suggest the bathtub up-curve is looming - and we’re all going to die fairly soon I have a 2019 Nucleus, it would seem an awful waste to not use the case, come the time… Will later gen NUC boards, or new mini-PC hardware fit?

I asked this in anticipation of mine going (it’s still fine ) but I’ll replace the guts with a NOS or refurbished NUC board when it does
