Please install a current version (1.03) of rooAIDJ and try again. Note that transferring LLM (large language model) results to Roon will never be 100% reliable, since LLMs can hallucinate and since we rely on the Roon API search function to find the tracks the LLM recommends.
I do have 1.03 on my phone currently.
The sad part is that it sounds like the Roon API is not very good or extensive, and your ideas for AI are absolutley what I am looking for. I would kill for AI to integrate with Roon and also be aware of my library. I currently export my library and import it into chatgpt and querry it for everything:
- What Mahler recording am I missing that is a must-have
- What 10 songs should I listen to that are similar to Mahler’s Agagietto in the 5th
- Give me five must listen to pieces of music similar to Handel’s Belshazzar

Your video shows a “Fast Play” button, that has been removed in version 1.03. Can you try to deinstall and install again?
If that does not work, please PM me your email address and i will invite you to TestFlight for version 1.04, that i am currently working on.
We’ll release a new version soon that should fix the problem. There will also be more AI models available as well as the possibility to use your own OpenAI API key for the full list of LLM models. Maybe newer LLM models improve classical music results. You can also try priming the AI by telling it something like “you are an expert for classical music. Please focus your recommendations on classical music”.

You can use your own API-key but we have no lifetime license yet. You’re the first one requesting this.
Offering this option we have to code a litte bit more to disable the use of our API-Key if a Lifetime License was acquired. We have not done this yet.

I really like your rooAIDJ. I just had one thing to ask about. I am requesting extended play versions of the songs. As they are commonly known at 12” versions. The AI recognizes that and comes back with proper response. However, the playlist is created using the normal version of the song. I don’t know how you can fix this, but I just wanted to ask.
