Thank you for your reply. That is not the problem I am having - I’ve seen that video a few times now. My list of songs with artist is generated without issue. The problem is after the list is generated and I go to play it. When I hit “Fast Play” the generated list does not appear in either the ROOAIDJ queue nor in Roon. For example, using that same exact prompt he uses for idm tracks of the 90’s, I get a list generated just like he does but when I hit Fast Play and select a zone, at 4:26 his list populates the queue and then Roon itself, where my queue window opens up and only stays blank stating “0 tracks remaining”. For what it is worth, I having the same issue on both my iPhone and my iPad both of which have latest iOS 16.5.1.

What rooAIDJ does is trying to interpret the generated list. You have to see the track and the artist. If this is not working please go to the settings of the rooAIDJ App and select Playlist mode Safe and AI Temperature Freezing. Freezing generates a more standardized output and may help even without Safe.
In Safe mode if you press Play rooAIDJ asks ChatCPT in the background to generate a JSON and this is sent to rooAIDJ. This takes longer but normally works without issues.
Please mail the output you generated and that did not work to info@definiteaudio.de I will debug and see what went wrong.

I’ve had a similar problem for a few days. This may be related to the update to iOS 16.5.1, but I can’t say for sure because I don’t use rooAIDJ every day. Regarding the problem: The results so far have been quite satisfactory and the playlists have been generated correctly. Recently that is no longer the case. Although rooAIDJ displays the process correctly, the transfer to the playlist leaves a lot to be desired.
Here’s an example:
Although I ask in advance to format the list as “artist” followed by “title”, he only does it after asking again.
One track appears twice, another has nothing to do with Martin Kohlstedt. The list ends up in Roon’s rendition, but overall the result is unsatisfactory. The “Safe” and “Freeze” options are set.
What else is striking: the titles used to be listed according to the pattern
- Interpret - Title
- Interpret - Title
- Interpret - Title
Now only a hyphen can be seen here. hmm…

using your prompt I get some tracks from Martin Kohlstedt but not the one you requested.
You must know that rooAIDJ uses the Roon search functionality. If I enter here for example “Martin Kohlstedt EXA” as shown below I also get wrong results. This means: Tracks not available or findable with the Roon Search can never be put in the Roon Queue no matter what rooAIDJ proposes.
Even if I change the order to Title - Artist i don’t get the right result from the Roon Search. You should ask Roon why it delivers not the expected result.

@DrCWO where can i find RooExtend_V3.2.0.zip ? on google drive latest is RooExtend_V3.1.4.zip?
Go to the webpage for rooextend.local and go all the way to the bottom. Select “Look for software updates”.

Please wait until rooExtend shows up again in Roon Settings/Extensions.
In no case unplug the power during update!!! You may crash the SD-Card

I am running Roon Rock on a NUC. I plugged the NUC and the RooExtend box into my wireless router. When I open Rood…Settings…Extentions, AIDJ is not listed. When I open the RooAIDJ app on my iPad it says the box is ext box is not connected. Do you know what I have done wrong?

You are probably still on v3.0.0. You can see the release number in Roon Settings/Extensions at the rooExtend License Manager.
The update will automatically be installed next night between 2AM and 4AM. So next morning you should be fine.
But the rooExtend-Box must be connected to Ethernet and power during the night.
