EDIT:
I already sent you a e-mail at Aug. 28. :+1:
Please respond to this.

Hi Lin,
seems you did not receive it.

Sorry for my late reply but I was out of office during the last few days.
Please let me know if you are located in China.
If yes I will prepare an image you can burn and that will work there.

Hello,
Is there a way to rotate the rpi lcd panel web display of 180 degrees with Rooextend ?
Thx

No not at the moment. I will see if this can be done with Chromium that I use to display the Roon artwork.

Out of curiosity has anyone else had any luck with a particular dongle? I’ve tried 3 without success (all of which work on Ropieee but their DietPi working seems ambiguous)…before I go out and buy something DietPi dedicated, I’d just be interested to hear if this is working for anyone? Thanks.

:exclamation::exclamation: rooExtend v3.4.3 is out :exclamation::exclamation:

Release 3.4.3 introduces a new feature for rooMax :+1:

More information on this release you will find here.

I found a solution to this request :+1: :+1: :+1:

In future the screen at the HDMI output can be rotated right, left, or inverted (=180deg.)
I will implement it at the end of this month when I’m back from my Croatia holiday

I think I am in the same boat. I am awaiting a Laiv Harmony and have a Roon Nucleus waiting to be set up with it and my network. My favorite area for listening is not hardwired - so I am going to get the house wired with Cat6 wiring and set up a switch (as well as some other fun stuff). But I am sort of stuck wondering how to go from a Roon to my Harmony (and do I need a streamer of some sort in-between them?). Any advice from your experiences with the Harmony would be greatly appreciated!

Tim

Hi Tim,
as your DAC has no ethernet input you need a streamer that supports Roon.

  • If you like to get a cheap solution just get a Raspberry Pi4 and use my rooExtend SD-Card image.
  • If this is too much DIY for you the rooExtend-Box may be a nice Plug&Play solution for you.
  • Also the Holo Audio Red streamer, a more expensive but quite solid streamer may be a solution for you. It also can be used with the rooExtend SD-Card image.

Hi, I’m trying to build a roon extend box, and saw that rpi 5 got release last month. Any plan to add support to that? If not I guess i’ll go get a rpi4. Thanks.

Hi Andrew,
Please go back to Pi 4. the image for Pi 5 is not yet ready.
