Roon 1.4 (Build 310) Is Live!

Hi all,

A new maintenance release of Roon is now rolling out. This release includes a handful of bug fixes and performance improvements, including improved error messages for TIDAL playback errors.

We know a number of users have been experiencing intermittent “Track Not Available” errors when playing TIDAL content. This has been a tricky one for us to debug. Some users see it regularly, while others only see it once in a while, and we have not yet found a clear pattern. In some cases, multiple users running similar setups in the same area of the world have completely different experiences.

There may, in fact, be multiple issues at play here, which happen to trigger similar symptoms. Our investigation of this issue continues, and today’s release includes a number of distinct error states, which should help us distinguish among a number of possible causes. Going forward, please make sure to let us know exactly what error you’re seeing if you’re having TIDAL playback problems.

The full list of bug fixes is below. Thanks all!
