Looks to me like Apple pushed out the morning updates and Roon was not one of them.
lets take a moment to fully appreciate 1.7, it was a wonderful friend to us and will be leaving us soon.

Yes, that’s the spirit! I actually am listening to some Joshua Redman Quartet right now on good old 1.7, that I wouldn’t have discovered I had in my library (I typically listen to older recordings), and thinking that Roon is pretty great.

i did a last nicely backup today, browsed with her through some special albums and let her play her most loved Jazz pieces now.
