You’re right, I was trying to emphasise that Roon Tested is quite different to Roon Ready and focused too much on USB and forgot about those other devices / protocols.

Google Home Hub as Roon Display?

This just appears to be a chrome cast on steroids. Can I use it as a Roon Display?

We spent some time in the 1.6 development cycle to figure out the quirks with Roon and Chromecast smart displays, but we weren’t able to address them in time for the release. Expect some improvements in the future, but there are still some issues that we haven’t figured out how to fix without some improvements to the SDK by Google.

I’m using 14" touchscreen connected with USB-C to a minipc running Roon Core. I like it for browsing albums instead of using a mobile device.

Hi there
I’m using an old iPad and running in full screen mode is not a problem.
You just do the following:
Open Safari
Type in your Roon Webviewer address
Push the “share” (arrow up)
Select “add to Home Screen”

An icon is then put on you iPad
Push it and you have Roon web view running in full screen

If you enable “guided access” then your kids / wife /…. can’t change the view / turn it off unless they have the code. Works beautifull as display only

Thank you, my Web View will always disappear in the Roon settings after a few seconds, and when I tap on the icon on my iPad Home Screen if will show the Roon Logo with a question mark. I can‘t find a way to make it stay… Roon seems to always close the Web View.
