· My roon app on my mac has updated to a version not supported by the OS. How can I get back the version I had before

· The Mac is running 10.15.7 as I have software that is not compatible with later OS for business. With the latest Roon update it tells me I need OS12 or later.
Your Mac is running into a minimum macOS requirement change, so the newer Roon build will not install on Catalina.
Roon 2.65 was the point where Catalina stopped being supported, and that requirement has now moved to macOS 12 or later. The relevant release notes and old installer are here: Roon 2.65 and ARC 1.77 are live.
Please see @mjw ‘s post for a link to the old installer and OpenCore as a possible path forward. Thanks!
Just checking in on this. Since your Mac is still on Catalina, the newer Roon build will not install until the machine is on macOS 12 or later. Have you had a chance to look at the old installer link from the 2.65 release notes, or at mjw’s post about OpenCore as a possible workaround? If you’ve made any progress or run into a snag, reply here and we can take a closer look.
