Roon connection issues

The software update has not been able to search for the new version, prompting an error. This new version was downloaded and installed from the server by myself.

If no upstream services are reliable, then you’ll likely need to try a different proxy service or VPN. Roon isn’t equipped to provide guidance on how to bypass state firewall restrictions, but users have gathered useful anecdotes in threads like this: Is Roon banned in China?

There is no problem with my vpn. I have no problem visiting google, opening tidal alone, and using github. Now the login on the roon website is normal. Only when I jump to connect to the roon core, I get stuck in the login interface.

I tossed around for a day yesterday. Later, I finally bypassed the login and entered the software by restoring backups, but I still can’t log in to tidal, arc, and can’t update metadata.

I am also in China. I often cannot connect to the server these days. Even if I connect, it shows that the metadata cannot be updated. I can connect normally by special means, but if I do so, arc will be useless. It seems to have happened before, I hope it is just a temporary behavior.
