I don’t know if this is a specific QNAP problem but I’ll put it here anyway. This week my Core lost all contact with every endpoint in the house, and won’t recognize my iPhone either in the app. I’ve had this happen a long time ago, but I forgot what the fix was. Very frustrating.
Core: QNAP QuTS Hero 5.1.0
Endpoints: Oppo 203 and 205, as well as RoPieeeXL Roon Bridges
Clients: MacOS Ventura 13.5 and iOS 16.6
There is such a thing as your own activity on the forum. It can be access through your profile icon top right of the screen.
Having a quick look ar you history, I saw this support ticket you previously posted:
Gee, I feel dumb. But I guess there is some merit into wondering why this happened again and if there is any use for further investigation.
I’m going to have to ask Support to engage this. The original solution didn’t work and things are worse now. The clients are having a hard time finding the Core, even after a reboot of the entire NAS. Now sure what to do next.
