· The Nucleus boots up and I can connect to it in the Roon app without issue, but I have a question about configuration/storage/attached devices
Describe the issue
I've been having problems with Roon crashing whenever I try to search my library quickly. Just scrolling through my albums makes Roon stop music playback and crash. I have to restart Roon each time.
You have our apologies, @Alan_Peres, we’re failing to request a diagnostic report from your Nucleus for further analysis.
Can you please use the directions found here and send over a set of logs to our File Uploader? Once logs have been uploaded, please let us know so that we can check the server for your files, thanks!
Does this happen no matter the Roon Remote device you use?
If you navigate to Roon Settings > Library > Clean up library, what do you see? Share a screenshot if you can (unless it’s showing zero tracks across the board).
We don’t see any obvious Roon Server crashes in the most recent set of logs from your server machine, but we do see sudden connectivity drops with iOS remotes after searching and browsing. This appears consistent with the pattern you’ve reported.
You mentioned that you have to reboot Roon above. Can you please clarify whether you mean restarting the app on your phone/tablet or rebooting the Nucleus One itself?
Does this crashing occur on all your Roon Remotes?
Thank you again for this report. The team has released a fix for a problem matching the symptoms reported here in the most recent release. Note that the crash we found occurred when you had a Random sort assigned in the Albums browser. This is today’s release, available here:
Please update to the latest version and let us know if you can still reproduce this problem. Thank you!
