Description of Issue

Roon has stopped recognizing NAD C399–it does show up in available devices even with direct connection to computer. Will show up as AirPlay when wifi is connected.
Reset router, restarted Roon & computer, reset NAD to factory settings.
Started as NAD being recognized as RAAT but as generic analog amplifier, but now doesn’t show at all.

Do you have a BluOS MDC card in it? If you’ve upgraded to the latest BluOS firmware and did a factory reset, that’s broke it. Either wait for Bluesound to fix it, or ask their support to roll you back to previous firmware version. As long as you do not factory reset it, it should be safe to update afterwards.

There are quite a few threads here about this problem with all kinds of Bluesound, NAD, and even DALI equipment…

Hi @David_Hiett,

Please see here: BluOS devices do not show up via Roon Ready mode after updating to BluOS version 3.20.45 [BluOS team aware]
