the album from phil Collins " but seriously" was not found by roon.
The album folder was named “…but seriously”, however when I removed the dots and renamed the folder to “but seriously” everything worked as it was supposed to.
I don’t know if it is a known bug or only specific for my setup that was unexpected.
Now I will check my folder hierarchy and try to find if any such folder exist
It is not a bug. It is an intentional restriction. Avoid using special characters in folders and file names.

I find that my files that have question mark “?” on the filename all failed to be imported.
I also remember that one of the issue we had on the forum with importing is because they have “/” on the filename.
These characters are not mentioned in the user guide. (https://kb.roonlabs.com/FAQ:_Some_of_my_files_aren’t_showing_up_in_Roon )
Could you please add these into the FAQ and if there are other known special characters that makes the import fails.

If music isn't showing up in Roon, first try to force a rescan of your folder from the Storage tab of Settings. You may also want to check the list of the Skipped Files, which can be found in the Library section of Settings. If that doesn't work, the...

Thanks for the report – this is a known limitation, as documented here .
We’ve heard of this for albums like …And Justice For All and Recycler , but I’m surprised …But Seriously has never come up!
