· Songs on album will not play. When listening to an album, which is occurring often recently (did not have this issue in previous years when using Roon).
Roon will freeze up and not play the next track. (I can get the track to play on Qobuz (via Qobuz Connect) which is the music service I use for Roon; however, it will not play on Roon.
Example: Genesis album “Trick of the Tail” the album will play all the tracks in order until the song “Ripples” at which point Roon will not play the track.
The animated symbol (usually twinkles like a star) at the bottom left of the song page does not animate, or twinkle.

I’m having the exact same issue you describe. In my case it’s using an older Nucleus connected via ethernet to an Orbi satellite and running into a dcs Bartok, and overall with a relatively small library. I’m mostly adding m two cents here in hopes that I’ll get notified if anything changes.
AI searches had been coming up with “You need a new server, I see this kind of information a lot that older Nucleus’ slow down and start getting stuck.” Really glad I found this thread.
Me too, random tracks not playing from a Qobuz album. Affects both my muso2 and nd5xs2. Does not happen when streaming Qobuz natively, or on local server albums.
Typically 1 or 2 tracks on an album, only workaround seems to be to play the next track.
All network devices ethernet cabled, and full fibre to the house.
That’s long before Nugs became available (which was a month ago). I’d probably just a coincidence.
If you experienced the issue for a couple of months, it’s probably also not the known current Qobuz issue (as likely a few posts above) because this also started 3 or 4 weeks ago, or so.
Correct, there was no fix confirmation, this is the latest:
Though due to CDN issues, it’s possible that the failing tracks keep changing or different servers behave differently, depending on what is going on in the CDN. (E.g., I haven’t had a single failure - in Germany - ever since this issue started).
So it’s possible that you have started to receive correct responses from Qobuz for whatever reason, even in case it’s still ongoing for others.
