· **Issue:** Qobuz streaming intermittently fails. When pressing play on a Qobuz track, playback never starts. The UI shows an endless loading state with no error message. Local library playback works perfectly.
The Roon Server log shows the FTMSI module entering a rapid infinite retry loop trying to fetch block 0 from the Qobuz CDN (Akamai). The CDN responds HTTP 200 but delivers 0 bytes of audio data, causing Roon to immediately retry — hundreds of times per second:
This loop continues indefinitely until I manually stop server.
**What I've tried:** - Logging out and back into Qobuz within Roon - Restarting Roon Server (systemctl stop/start) - Clearing Roon cache (rm -rf RoonServer/Cache) and restarting - Changing DNS: tested Quad9, Cloudflare, Google - Verified Qobuz app streams perfectly from the same network/IP - Verified local library playback in Roon works fine
**Behavior pattern:** - Sometimes Roon recovers on its own after many retries and requests a new streaming URL - This started approximately 5 days ago. No changes were made to my network or Roon setup.
**For remote diagnostics:** Issue reproduced today March 18 at 17:35 Chile time (20:35 UTC).

Describe the issue
I do see my full library, my play lists but when asking to play one song it will not start and this message is posted“ Starting playback on your audio device. This may take a moment!“ sadly the music doesn‘t play at all! Thank you for your support. Paolo

I use the Nucleus Plus (SN54B2030BBAC3) linked to the WLan Box by cable. I run from the WiFI WLan box a Network cable to my Bricasti Design M1s2 DAC.
Hi everyone. Over the last few days Roon won’t play specific tracks. For example, “Almost Like the Blues” (from Leonard Cohen’s “Popular Problems”) won’t play, but the other album tracks play as expected. It is happening with a lot of tracks, including some chosen by Roon Radio. The same tracks play fine in the Qobuz App. Is there something going on regarding the Qobuz-Roon integration or am I the only one facing this issue?
PS. My server is a NUC that has been trouble-free for almost 4 years and the issue is not endpoint specific
Running a Titan here with Qobuz. Chris Stapelton’s “Tennessee Whiskey” won’y play the Qobuz 24/96 version; only the 16/44. Will play the entire rest of the album. Superbly annoying that I’m trying to show off my system to some family and I can’t fulfill the #1 song request.
I stream 98% of the time using Qobuz through Roon. The past month or so music just stops playing! When I look into my Roon app on my IPad to see what’s up, I can see where the song time is shown at the bottom of the app. It looks like a cursor going back and forth with nothing playing. I’ve done numerous speed tests. I’m just shy of a gig of bandwidth.

Same here. Roon simply won’t play “Through the Morning, Through the Night” from Robert Plant/Alison Krauss “Raising Sand” in the default 24/96 version. The progress bar sits there pulsating forlornly. Other tracks on the album play okay. If I switch to the 16/44.1 version that track is fine.
@Vitor_Goncalves , same issue here. I believe the culprit is Qobuz, who has been swapping out catalog numbers more frequently than usual these days (typically to replace a Redbook with 24/192 or similar). Roon hangs at 0:00, and simply won’t skip the track as it used to do. I’ve had numerous playlists “stuck” on various tracks today, particularly when listening to Daily Mixes. Very frustrating.
This is happening to me as well. You explained it better. I also noticed in my “album” tab where I have it set to show “date Added”. This shows my most recent added albums. Today I noticed about 20 some albums in my album folder that was added years ago, now showing as my most recent added albums. Something isn’t right with Roon
I’m having the same issue. For example, Eagles track Hotel California won’t play on the 192/24 Hotel California album, but the rest of the tracks are fine. This happing on more and more albums.
When I stream directly to my DAC, bypassing roon, there are no issues. This is super frustrating. Hope they will acknowledge there is an issue and pursue a solution soon.
Been seeing the same thing the last 2 weeks or so. No issues up until then. Tracks randomly start working after time only to see new tracks fail to stream.
