Roon is frozen, can't start music or switch source

Since 2 days I can boot Roon from iMac. Screen appears, but cant start launching music to my Primare i35 or switch to other source. System hangs on last music file and this one can’t be changed by a new track.
All is frozen and this is bad.
Tidal music as stand alone is normally working and can connect through chrome cast to I35, so its not Tidal, or internet or streamer.

When switching to other source it hangs in the transfer popup screen
When selecting new album I can’t start playing it, it keeps the old music and the music icon dances but no sound at all

Rebooted my iMac, deleted app and reinstalled, removed cache. NOTHING WORKS

Thanks for contacting us regarding this issue. Can you please confirm if you have a Backup made of your current database? If you don’t have one, please use my above link to make one from the Roon App and then let’s try using a fresh database to see if that changes anything. To do this step you’ll need to:

  • Exit out of Roon
  • Navigate to your Roon’s Database Location: https://kb.roonlabs.com/Database_Location
  • Find the folder that says “Roon”
  • Rename the “Roon” folder to “Roon_old”
  • Restart the Roon App to generate a new Roon folder
  • Verify it the same issue occurs
