Since the recent build 1480 update, I’m noting poor resposne from my Roon server (Nucleus+) from all end point controls (PC, iPhone etc). Rebooting hasn’t sold this. There is just a big lag in getting any song to play (can take 10-20 seconds) or just to respond to interface controls.
What’s going on and is this known? what should I do to get back to normal use?

Have you noticed your play queue ballooning in size? This is a known bug introduced into the last production release. My play queue has ballooned to 27,000 tracks. I cannot confirm if it is related to response issues but I also get those as well and they started at the same time as the queue issue. Unfortunately progress on fixing the release 1480 issues is being tracked in an Early Access rather than a Production thread so many Production users will not be aware of the status:
There is a new update and it seems that the lag problem is solved.

Mmm, I am not satisfied. There is indeed some improvement but the lagging stays when starting a new track. It takes several seconds before I hear any music and even worse I miss the first few notes of a track. Very, very frustrating, especially with classical music.
It seems a to happen when using an Airplay speaker. I use a Devialet Dione wired and an Apple homepod wireless. Both have the same problem.
When using my iPad or iPhone as a device to listen to Roon. Everything is fine. No lagging whatsoever.
