yes. just typed ifconfig from the command line
You may have to remove more parts (the disk maybe) to see more of the mainboard. It usually is a button battery but I don’t know the innards of a Nucleus.
Hi, I had to take apart a fair bit of kit because the battery is on the underside of the motherboard, but once i get there the battery is not a typical button battery c2032, but it’s encased in some sort of rubber and connected with wires. Any other thoughts?
Use Google to search for the text on the battery? It’s not magic after all (CR2032 battery two wires and a connector). Maybe another user or Roon Labs can point you straight at a suitable offering or a local shop can help you.
CR2023 is widely available, and top branded batteries of this type last much longer than cheap alternatives.
Hello @javier.romero.z
The time setting does not affect the DHCP protocol; you should still receive an IP address correctly.
Could you please try running the following commands:
ifconfig eth0 192.168.XXX.YYY netmask 255.255.255.0 up
route add default gw 192.168.XXX.1 eth0
Replace XXX with your current subnet and YYY with a free IP address in that subnet. After that, please check if the device is reachable via that IP address and let us know.
