Roon on Mac crashes after a white square with a red “X” appears on the screen

I’m living since more than 1 month the same problem. I’ve discovered, reading the log file that an expected directory disappears together with the searched file.

I recreate the directory and the file and Roon restarts, it works for a while and then the gives the same problem I would attach the log file if I knew how to do it.

I’m talking about Apple Mac

Software Crashing

Hello @luigi_GRILLI , Do you by any chance have any backups of your Roon database? Can you please try to perform a full Roon reinstall? Exit out of Roon Navigate to your Roon Database Location Find the folder that says “Roon” Rename the “Roon” folder to “Roon_old” Reinstall the Roon App from our Downloads Page to generate a new Roon folder Verify if issue persists on fresh database before restoring the backup Restore from backup
