Roon Radio Not Functioning for a Single Artist (ref#1AL1P5)

What’s happening?

· I have most of PJ Harvey's main albums and a Tidal subscription. I want to listen to PJ Harvey on shuffle. Using "Play Artist" within the first 20 songs it's played the same songs multiple times. It occasionally throws in a new one but then goes back to recycling the old ones.

How can we help?

·Is the behaviour by design or is it a bug?

· What's the best way to do a Local and Tidal music shuffle for a singe artist avoiding multiple track repeats?

Thank you for the report. Please let us know the following information so we can thoroughly investigate.

1. Specifically how are you initiating playback in this example? Are you clicking “Play Now” from the Artist page for PJ Harvey?

2. Please share a screenshot of the Queue/Now Playing page when you’re encountering this particular issue.

3. Do you have Roon Radio limited to your Roon library, or is that untoggled like below?

1. Yes, clicking “Play Now” from the Artist page for PJ Harvey

2. I just retested and got the same (mis)behaviour. “Death Is Not The End” was the first song it selected. Roon then selected it again for the 7th song.

Diagnostics indicate loop is enabled as well - does this behavior change if you disable Loop mode?

I just checked and loop mode is not enabled. It’s set to white, not purple.

I’m assuming this still reproduces for you when you try Roon Radio with this artist?

Does this still occur if you switch to another Zone?

Roon Radio plays the same tracks

I must admit I have to report the same. I was “running in” a new set of speakers on the weekend so started with some soft rock (Eagles Greatest Hits) and left roon to its devices once the album was complete and noticed the same thing, the same artists, the same albums, the same tracks just kept repeating through out the day. Surely that is not the rationale of Roon radio?
